Hawthorne a surprise inactive Week 9: New Orleans linebacker David Hawthorne (hamstring) is inactive for the Saints for the Week 9 Monday night game against the Eagles. Hawthorne was hoping to return Monday after missing the Week 8 game as well but he'll have to wait at least one more week. (Updated 11/5/12) |
| Injury Report |
| No information available at this time (Updated 5/23/13). |
| Fantasy Analysis |
Hawthorne was probable to play in the game and so apparently suffered some sort of setback. Perhaps the Saints just wanted to make sure he was completely healthy before they allow him to return. Hawthorne has had at least 100 tackles in three straight seasons but this year is putting that record to the test as he has already missed two games due to injury. When healthy, Hawthorne has low-end value in IDP formats. (Updated 11/5/12). |
