Broncos LB Brandon Marshall hopes to be ready for training camp
|by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com|
|(6/17/15) Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall is still nursing a foot injury, but he said Wednesday he'll be able to participate in training camp, reports the team's official website.
"I'll be back in training camp. That's what the word is," Marshall said. "I should be able to do some drills at the start of training camp. I'm not sure about everything else."
Marshall suffered a mid-foot sprain last season, which required two screws inserted into his foot during the offseason.
"I haven't really done a whole lot on it," Marshall said. "I do a lot more in the training room. My surgeon told me it will probably bother me a little bit throughout the whole year -- nothing to keep me out."

|(5/28/15) Broncos inside linebacker Brandon Marshall was able to lift weights with his teammates during Wednesday's OTA practice, according to the team's website.
Marshall is still recovering from a foot injury which has kept him off the practice field thus far.
"I think it will be fairly soon," Marshall said, "because I feel really good, honestly."
Marshall injured his foot in a December game against the Chargers and later played through the pain in the playoffs against the Colts. He said that watching practice hasn't been as much fun as being out there.
"It's kind of tough, because while I'm out here, I need to pay attention; I need to watch more film, because when you do it more, you get a better feel for it," he said. "I have to learn through visual learning and just trying to soak up as much information as I can, because when training camp comes, it's going to come fast, and I've got to learn fast. I'll be all right.
Jets' Richardson, Marshall not at voluntary OTA's
|(5/20/15) The Jets were without defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson and wide receiver Brandon Marshall at the team's voluntary organized team activities on Wednesaday, per nj.com.
Wednesday marked the second day of the Jets' 10-day voluntary workout program. Marshall was present on the first day but Richardson was not.
Jets coach Todd Bowles said Marshall was absent on Wednesday because he "had something to take care of, but "it wasn't conveyed" to him why Richardson was not there.
Richardson was the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2013 and is projected to play a key role on the Jets' defense.

Broncos sign LB Brandon Marshall to ERFA tender offer
|by Ted Leshinski | Staff Writer|
|(4/13/15) The Broncos have signed linebacker Brandon Marshall to his exclusive rights free agent tender on Monday, per Pro Football Talk.
A three-year veteran, Marshall played in 14 games, starting 13, for the Broncos in 2014 and recorded 95 tackles and two sacks.
|Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall is coming off Lisfranc surgery this offseason, and he hopes to be ready for the start of training camp. We hope he's ready also because he was a standout Fantasy linebacker in IDP leagues last season. Marshall had 113 total tackles (91 solo) with two sacks, one interception and nine pass defenses, and he was the No. 7 linebacker in IDP leagues. If he's ready for Week 1 then plan on drafting Marshall with a mid-round pick as a starting option.
