Bishop lost for the season: Green Bay linebacker Desmond Bishop (hamstring) was among five players placed on injured reserve Monday and will miss the entire upcoming season. Bishop, who suffered a hamstring injury during the first quarter of the team's preseason opener, joins running back Duane Bennett; tight end DeMarco Cosby; defensive lineman Johnny Jones; and wide receiver Shaky Smithson on injured reserve.

| Fantasy Analysis |
Aside from Bishop, neither of these players were expected to make a Fantasy impact this season and should be left off all rosters at this point. But the loss of Bishop is devastating for the Packers' already suspect defense as he racked up a career-high 115 tackles last season. But with his season already over, Fantasy owners should bypass him in all IDP formats for the 2012 campaign.

Packers Projected Roster: Getting to 53
The Packers are coming off their first win of the preseason, 27-13 over the Bengals, their best overall performance by far. The starters on both sides of the ball looked good. The No. 1 offense rode an impressive ground game to 17 first-half points, while the No. 1 defense held Cincinnati to a pair of field goals and just one conversion on six third downs.
