Don't get psyched about Quizz just yet: With the news of Michael Turner's release Friday, many Fantasy owners are hopeful the Falcons will give the starting running back job to Jacquizz Rodgers. Not so fast -- while Falcons head coach Mike Smith talked him up as being a guy who could be a three-down running back, the team still is going to look at other running back options. They've already been linked as a possible destination for veteran Steven Jackson.

Fantasy Analysis
Rodgers did very little last season to show he could truly be an every-down back, despite what Smith says. He had numerous opportunities to unseat Michael Turner from being the primary running back. Statistically he outproduced Turner in just three games last year and never once did he have more carries than Turner. Tack on Rodgers' mediocre stat line (94 carries, 362 yards, 3.9 avg., 53 catches, 402 yards, two total touchdowns) and there's not a ton to love about him. Expect him to get taken as a mid-round pick as a reserve Fantasy option and/or as a handcuff for the Falcons' eventual starter.
