|Broncos DST wears down in Super Bowl |
|by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com|
(2/2/14) The Broncos DST started strong in the Super Bowl but eventually wore down as the unit was repeatedly put in bad positions by Denver's offense. The Broncos got no sacks or turnovers and gave up 341 total yards.
Denver did a nice job bottling up Marshawn Lynch, holding him to 39 yards on 15 carries. It didn't matter as Russell Wilson threw for a pair of touchdowns, Lynch punched in a 1-yard touchdown and Seattle scored on an interception return and kickoff return.
Linebacker Danny Trevathan was one of the few bright spots for Denver. He made a game-high 12 tackles, one for loss.

|by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer|
(12/22/13) Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan, who was listed as probable Friday with a shoulder injury, is active for Week 16 at Houston. He was able to practice in full all week.
Trevathan is among the league leaders in tackles this season, averaging 8.1 per game.
|Danny Trevathan racks up nine stops in loss |
|by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com|
(12/13/13) Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan had a solid game Thursday, in a 27-20 loss to the Chargers in Week 15. He led the team with nine tackles -- seven solo -- his best total in four games.
Trevathan continues to build on his breakout season. He has 113 tackles and three interceptions in 14 games.
|Danny Trevathan played well in 2013, and he will look to build off that performance this year. Trevathan had 128 total tackles (87 solo) to go with two sacks, three interceptions, one fumble recovery and 10 pass defenses. He is a solid No. 2 Fantasy linebacker coming into the season, and we like him with a late-round pick in IDP leagues. Hopefully we can see another 100-tackle campaign with his share of turnovers and sacks.
