Broncos LB Danny Trevathan adjusting to new kneecap
|by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com|
|(6/17/15) After Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan separated his kneecap last December, the injury required a new kneecap, which Trevathan said was difficult to adjust to, reports the team's official website.
"I got somebody else's kneecap," Trevathan said. "It was difficult because it was a bigger knee… I love the scar, though."
Trevathan has not been able to participate in the team drills during offseason workouts, but he is expected to increase his workload in August.
"I'm moving. I'm shuffling. I'm doing our drills. I'm doing everything right now; I'm just limited on contact," he said. "I'm feeling good right now, I'm not going to lie. But I want to feel great before I go out there again. I think I owe this team and I owe this city."
Broncos LB Danny Trevathan taking it slow after trio of injuries

|(4/29/15) Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan, still recovering from three serious knee injuries, told the Denver Post that he's "limited" as the team goes through its voluntary workout sessions, but that he expects to be in the lineup at the start of the season.
The linebacker fractured his knee twice and then dislocated it last year, playing in just two games for the Broncos thanks to the injuries. Instead of hurrying back to action, Trevathan is working on the mental aspect of his game.
"I'm limited," Trevathan said. "I can't do too much movement, but it's good for me. I get to work on my mindset. I had a year last year to work on it, but now I'm really strong with my mind. I don't like making mistakes."
Broncos LB Danny Trevathan well on road to recovery

|(4/16/15) Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan is on the comeback trail after experiencing a 2014 season that was ruined by three injuries around the knee - two bone fractures and a dislocated kneecap that wiped out his season after he played in just three games.
Trevathan is participating in team-organized workouts that began Monday. And he feels quite good about it.
"It's doing good, man," he told the team website. "I feel like last year was a setback, but this year is a big comeback for me. They've been doing a good job in the treatment room with me, and I've just been pushing it and being smart about it."
Trevathan emerged in 2013 with an 88-tackle season in which he recorded three interceptions.

Broncos LB Danny Trevathan lands on IR

|(12/16/14) Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan was officially placed on injured reserve on Tuesday, ending his 2014 campaign, according to ESPN. Trevathan missed 11 of Denver's first 13 games with two separate fractures in his left knee. He aggravated the injury in his first game back in Week 15 against the Chargers.
Last season, Trevathan led the Broncos in tackles.
|Danny Trevathan has the chance to be a sleeper for Fantasy owners this year in IDP leagues. Trevathan was limited to three games for the Broncos in 2014 because of a dislocated kneecap, but he's expected to be 100 percent for training camp. He played well in 2013 with 128 total tackles (87 solo) with three interceptions, two sacks and 10 pass defenses. Keep an eye on his recovery, but he's worth a late-round flier in most IDP formats.
