|Knee - Questionable for Week 3 at Seattle|
Rank Among Leaders
|Danny Trevathan returns to practice Friday |
|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
(10:17 am ET) Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan returned to practice Friday for the first time since fracturing his left leg during training camp practice on Aug. 12, the Denver Post reports.
"I've just been working as hard as I can," Trevathan said. "I'm not really putting a time on it; I'm just working as much as I can. It just feels good to be out there with my team and just get it moving a little bit."
Trevathan is listed as questionable to play in Week 3 but will likely be de-activated before the game and prepare for a potential return in Week 5 after his team's bye.

(9/19/14) Linebacker Danny Trevathan (knee) is the lone questionable player on the Friday injury report released Friday by the Broncos for their Sunday game against Seattle.
Fellow linebacker Lerentee McCray (knee) is the lone Bronco ruled out. Listed as probable are cornerback Chris Harris (knee), kicker Brandon McManus (groin), linebacker Von Miller (groin) and guard Ben Garland (ankle).
|Broncos announce inactives for Week 2 vs. Chiefs |
|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
(9/14/14) The Broncos have announced that the following players will be inactive for Sunday's Week 2 game against the Chiefs: safety David Bruton Jr., wide receivers Cody Latimer and Tony Carter, guard Ben Garland, offensive tackle Michael Schofield and linebacker Danny Trevathan.
Special teamer Bruton was questionable with a shoulder injury. Garland was doubtful with an ankle issue. Trevathan will miss a few more weeks while recovering from a broken ankle.
|Broncos release final injury report for Week 2 |
|by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com|
(9/12/14) The Broncos should have at least six players listed on the injury report for Week 2.
Linebacker Danny Trevathan is the only player to be ruled out for the game. Guard Ben Garland is doubtful, and safety David Bruton Jr. is considered questionable heading into the game.
The Broncos did list six players as probable, and should have them available Sunday. Ryan Clady, Chris Harris Jr., Nate Irving, Manny Ramirez, DeMarcus Ware and Kayvon Webster should all play Week 2.
|Broncos DST shows off new look |
|by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com|
(9/8/14) The revamped Broncos DST pressured Colts quarterback Andrew Luck into some mistakes Week 1. The unit hit Luck six times, getting 1.5 sacks from defensive end DeMarcus Ware and another sack from linebacker Nate Irving.
Safety Rahim Moore intercepted a pair of deflected passes. Linebacker Brandon Marshall, replacing the injured Danny Trevathan, made a game-high 10 tackles, two for loss, and broke up a pass. Denver stuffed Luck on a 4th-and-goal sneak attempt from the 1.
The rejuvenated Broncos DST gets a juicy matchup Week 2 when the Chiefs visit Denver.
|Danny Trevathan played well in 2013, and he will look to build off that performance this year. Trevathan had 128 total tackles (87 solo) to go with two sacks, three interceptions, one fumble recovery and 10 pass defenses. He is a solid No. 2 Fantasy linebacker coming into the season, and we like him with a late-round pick in IDP leagues. Hopefully we can see another 100-tackle campaign with his share of turnovers and sacks.
