Seattle signs DL McDonald: Seattle on Wednesday announced the signing of restricted free agent Clinton McDonald. Seattle had tendered a one-year qualifying offer to McDonald, who chose to sign and return as Seattle's backup nose tackle.

Seahawks Notebook: Secondary still banged up
CB Marcus Trufant and CB Walter Thurmond -- who were inactive in Seattle's 50-17 win over Buffalo on Sunday -- missed practice on Wednesday with hamstring injuries.
