'Something special' with Lockette: 49ers receiver Ricardo Lockette didn't get any action in 2012, spending most of it on the inactive list. But the 6-foot-2, 211-pound speedster has been spending time with Colin Kaepernick this offseason in hopes of being a productive member of the 49ers offense in 2013. "There is something special there -- I can feel it," coach Jim Harbaugh said of Lockette back in March.

Fantasy Analysis
Lockette might be on the bubble to make the Niners roster but what he offers in speed might be too tempting for the team to pass up on. With no more than 23 catches in a single season at Fort Valley State he doesn't seem to be a realistic Fantasy option for owners (unless you want to gamble a late pick on him in the deepest of dynasty/keeper league start-ups). Some good work in training camp could lead him to being a small factor for the Niners this year. We'll see.
