Injured Dolphins defenders able to play Sunday
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(9/7/14) The Dolphins enter Week 1 against the Patriots without much in the way of injury concerns, as four players from the defensive side of the ball were able to play through their issues Sunday.

Defensive backs Walt Aikens (hand) and Jamar Taylor (hip) are active for Sunday's game, along with linebackers Koa Misi (shoulder) and Chris McCain (hip). All four were listed as probable for the game.

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(9/5/14) The Dolphins have issued a lengthy injury report for Week 1.

Four players have been officially ruled out for the game. Defensive end Terrence Fede, center Mike Pouncey, linebacker Jordie Tripp and linebacker Philip Wheeler will not play against the Patriots.

Guard Billy Turner is listed as doubtful due to a foot injury.

The team also listed for players as probable. Safety Walt Aikens, cornerback Jamar Taylor and linebackers Chris McCain and Koa Misi should all see action Sunday.

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(9/3/14) Three Dolphins were not able to practice Wednesday: center Mike Pouncey, defensive end Terrence Fede (knee), center Mike Pouncey (hip) and linebacker Jordan Tripp (chest).

The following players were limited participants in Wednesday's practice: safety Walt Aikens (hand), tight end Charles Clay (knee), linebacker Koa Misi (shoulder), defensive end Derrick Shelby (illness), kicker Caleb Sturgis (groin), cornerback Jamar Taylor (hip), guard Billy Turner (foot) and linebacker Philip Wheeler (thumb).

Dolphins haven't soured on Jamar Taylor
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(2/9/14) The Dolphins remain high on second-year cornerback Jamar Tayor, reports the Miami Herald. Taylor, a second-round pick, played just 45 defensive snaps after a long recovery from sports hernia surgery.

"We're going to see better dividends from him in 2014," a Dolphins staffer told the paper. With corners Brent Grimes and Dimitri Patterson entering free agency, Miami needs Taylor to produce.

Dolphins healthy for Sunday game
by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(12/27/13) The Dolphins have placed 10 players on their Friday injury report, but only running back Daniel Thomas (ankle) is questionable for the critical battle against the Jets. The others are probable, including quarterback Ryan Tannehill (knee). The other offensive players are wide receivers Brian Hartline (knee) and Marlon Moore (wrist).

The defensive probables are defensive backs Jamar Taylor (hamstring), Don Jones (elbow/abdomen) and Chris Clemons (knee/hamstring), linebacker Koa Misi (triceps) and tackles Jared Odrick (wrist) and Paul Soliai (ankle).
