(5/6/13) Notable players added by the Packers on Day 3 of the NFL draft include Iowa cornerback Micah Hyde, Mississippi State defensive tackle Josh Boyd, Illinois State linebacker Nate Palmer, Grand Valley State receiver Charles Johnson, Maryland receiver Kevin Dorsey and South Florida linebacker Sam Barrington.

| The Packers selected Iowa cornerback Micah Hyde in April's draft. Hyde has a chance to contribute for the Packers down the line thanks to his good-enough size and acceptable speed. He's a solid tackler and has good instincts for the ball while in coverage. He's worth a late pick in dynasty/keeper leagues and rookie-only drafts. (Updated 5/15/13) |
