Burfict will stay outside: Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said he expects newly re-signed linebacker Rey Maualuga to stay as a middle linebacker on defense. It was widely assumed Vontaze Burfict would move inside but now it looks like he'll stay as a weak-side linebacker.

Burfict has had a huge season for an undrafted free agent rookie, racking up 127 tackles -- 73 solo. He added one sack over the course of the season. He will now play in the postseason for the first time. Burfict looks to have some potential as a productive Fantasy IDP option, and could be worth a look in later rounds on Draft Day next season.

| Vontaze Burfict went from a laughing stock as a draft prospect to the Bengals' middle linebacker. That's where he will end up in 2013 after collaborating on 127 total tackles with a sack, two passes defensed and two fumbles recovered. Burfict has the potential to be a solid Fantasy linebacker, and that should be good enough to take him with a mid-round pick, if not maybe a mid- to late-round pick as a potential bargain.
