Steelers bulk pass rush with Jones: Georgia outside linebacker Jarvis Jones posted on Twitter that he didn't believe he'd fall any farther than 17th overall in the NFL draft, and he was right. The Steelers took Jones with the 17th pick in the NFL draft, instantly helping their pass rush. He should replace Jason Worlids in the starting lineup. (Updated 4/25/13) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
Jones led the country in sacks (14.5), tackles for loss (24.5) and forced fumbles (seven) in 2012 -- and that's while missing two games. The 6-foot-2, 242-pound pass rusher didn't record a fast 40-yard dash time but has an incredible track record of getting to the quarterback and disrupting offenses. There is a medical risk: He was diagnosed with a mild case of spinal stenosis in 2009 and his career was in jeopardy. The Steelers obviously are comfortable with it. Consider Jones a middle- to late-round choice in seasonal leagues and dynasty/keeper formats. He's also worth a mid-round pick in rookie-only drafts. (Updated 4/25/13). |
