|Titans defensive trio probable for Week 7 |
|by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com|
(10/18/13) Three Titans defensive players are expected to play through injuries without issue in Week 7 against the 49ers, based on Friday's injury report. |Questionable players dominate Titans injury report |
|by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com|
(10/11/13) The rather bulky Titans injury report Friday is loaded with questionable players for the game Sunday in Seattle.
Among those so listed are linebacker Patrick Bailey (hamstring), defensive tackle Sammie Lee Hill (ankle), defensive end Derrick Morgan (shoulder), cornerback Coty Sensabaugh (concussion), tackle David Stewart (ankle) and cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson (hamstring).
|Titans list Week 5 inactives |
|by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer|
(10/6/13) The Titans' list of inactives for Week 5 against the Chiefs includes wide receiver Michael Preston, offensive lineman Brian Schwenke, offensive lineman Byron Stingily, defensive back Blidi Wreh-Wilson (hamstring) and defensive lineman Sammie Lee Hill (ankle). Preston, Schwenke and Stingily are all healthy scratches.
|The Tennessee Titans continued to retool their secondary by drafting Connecticut cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson in the third round. Wreh-Wilson, a former basketball and soccer player, didn't take up football until his senior year in high school. He went on to become a team captain and all-Big East performer at Connecticut. In four years with the Huskies he finished with 180 total tackles, eight interceptions and 35 passes defensed. At the very least Wreh-Wilson will provide depth this season for the Titans. He's considered more of a zone cornerback than a man-to-man player. There isn't a ton of stat production to be expected here. Minimal stats are expected -- he's only worth a late pick in dynasty/keeper league drafts and a mid-to-late pick in rookie-only drafts. (Updated 5/15/13) |
