|(12/21/14) The Cardinals will have both Larry Fitzgerald and Tyrann Mathieu Week 16 against the Seahawks.
Both players came into the game listed as probable, and were always expected to play. Fitzgerald is battling a knee injury. Mathieu has a thumb issue.
The team will also have Lorenzo Alexander, Calais Campbell, Paul Fanaika, Larry Foote, Jared Veldheer and Kerwynn Williams for the contest. All six players were listed as probable.
The team's only questionable player, Jaron Brown, is also active. He's dealing with a toe injury.
Tyrann Mathieu plans to face Seahawks with cast on left thumb

|(12/16/14) Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu practiced Monday with a cast on his surgically-repaired left thumb, and he said he'll play Sunday night against the Seahawks. "I wasn't going to miss this one," he told ESPN.com.
Mathieu fractured his thumb Week 13 and has missed two straight games. A pin was inserted during surgery. Mathieu conceded that catching the ball would be "quite a trick," per the website.
"I think I'm healed up enough to finish out the season," Mathieu said. "So hopefully I don't have any more setbacks."
Mathieu has 29 tackles and an interception in 11 games.
Cardinals list Week 15 inactives vs. Rams Thursday
|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
|(12/11/14) The Cardinals have listed the following players as inactive for Thursday's Week 15 matchup with the Rams: safety Tyrann Mathieu (thumb), guards Paul Fanaika (ankle) and Anthony Steen, defensive ends Josh Mauro and Kareem Martin, defensive tackle Alameda Ta'amu and linebacker Kenny Demens.
Mathieu and Fanaika had been previously ruled out, while the team's other players on the final injury report are all active.
|Tyrann Mathieu could open training camp on the PUP list after he tore two ligaments in his knee in December. We hope he can be ready by Week 1 or early in the season because he was a solid playmaker as a rookie in 2013. Mathieu had 68 total tackles (65 solo) with two interceptions, one sack and nine pass defenses in 13 games. It could take some time for him to return at 100 percent, so keep an eye on his recovery. If the reports are positive then draft Mathieu with a late-round pick in IDP leagues. And if his rehab is going longer than expected then just be prepared to add him off waivers when he's finally cleared to get back on the field. He could turn into a must-start Fantasy option this year if he's back at full strength.
