Ravens FS Terrence Brooks planning on playing in 2015
|by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com|
|(5/15/15) The Ravens will not disregard Terrence Brooks when planning how their free safety position shakes out this season. He is optimistic about returning to action at some point.
Brooks tore the ACL and MCL in his right knee last December against Jacksonville. He has declared that he has made steady progress since his surgery and has not ruled out playing in 2015. He will start the season on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list and will avoid rushing back before he's ready, but he believes he's in good shape at this point.
"Its going really good," he told the Baltimore Sun. "To be honest, we're probably a little bit ahead of schedule. I haven't had a break since I've been hurt. It's been straight rehab since (surgery)."
The third-round pick in 2014 contributed 19 tackles, two passes defensed and a fumble recovery in 11 games (no starts) before going down.
