| Fantasy Analysis |
David finishes his rookie season with 139 tackles, which is a final total for any player, regardless of his experience. Because he has established himself as one of the elite tacklers in the game, he'll be one of the top linebackers drafted in Fantasy IDP leagues next year. (Updated 12/30/12). |
| Bucs linebacker Lavonte David did a sensational job as the Bucs' weakside linebacker in 2012, and more is expected in 2013. Finishing with 139 total tackles – 112 of which were solo – to go with a pair of sacks, an interception and six passes defensed was enough to finish as a Top 10 linebacker. With expectations sky-high, figure David to get taken as a No. 1 linebacker in 2012 with potentially an early- to mid-round pick. We might not recommend him going quite that high but certainly a mid-round choice should be worth it. (Updated 4/26/13) |
