Panthers drop Kearse: The Panthers released defensive lineman Frank Kearse on Friday in order to create a spot on the active roster for fellow defensive lineman Nate Chandler from the practice squad. Kearse joined Carolina last season after being signed off the Dolphins' practice squad.
