Urlacher says knee feels good: ESPN.com reports that Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher, who damaged ligaments in his knee during last season's final game at Minnesota but did not require surgery, said it "feels good" on Tuesday. "I've had so much time in the offseason to get it right," he said. "I still have four months [until training camp]. I'm definitely not in a big hurry. I've done everything to this point I've been asked to do. I'm sure when the time's right, I'll be ready to play. I have six months before the season starts to get ready. I'll be good to go when the time is right." (Updated 04/11/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Urlacher confirms that his MCL and PCL were damaged in the game, but he expects to be fine. Though the 33-year-old isn't as dominant as he was in his younger days, he's still a good enough source of tackles to serve as a No. 2 Fantasy linebacker in the majority of leagues. (Updated 04/11/2012).
05/23/2012 15:33 Brian Urlacher on injured knee: 'I'm on schedule, so I feel good'
Even though his knee was supposed to take 10 weeks to stabilize after he injured it during Chicago's season finale vs. the Vikings, Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher is taking it easy this spring and not participating in the team's OTAs.
Brian Urlacher might be 34 years old, coming off a knee injury and entering his 12th season, but he's still a solid Fantasy linebacker. He had 102 total tackles last season, which is kind of low for him, but he supplemented it with three interceptions and seven passes defensed. That was good enough to make him a low-end No. 1 Fantasy linebacker, and he's almost that heading into 2012. Because age is an issue along with health, it's safer to call Urlacher a high-end No. 2 choice rather than a No. 1. We'd still take him with a mid-round pick once the first 10 or 12 linebackers go off the board. (Updated 4/19/12)
