Bulluck wants bigger role: The New York Post reports linebacker Keith Bulluck said he would be interested in returning to the Giants in 2011, but he reiterated he is not interested in returning to a part-time role. "Definitely this year, no matter where I go, I would have to play a bigger role," Bulluck said. "I don't have to be an every-down player, but I need to play to my strengths and that's the passing downs." Bulluck started eight games at strongside linebacker in 2010, but he produced just 31 tackles, no sacks and two interception in 13 games. "I kind of know the things I was lacking and the things where normally I was strong and where I wasn't as strong," Bulluck said. "Point of attack and explosion were my two biggest things I was missing. Initial contact was fine. When it came to the drive and follow through, even on tackles, dealing with offensive linemen, those things I had the most trouble because I wasn't used to being in that situation." Bulluck was on the bench in 2010 mostly during passing downs since the Giants weren't sure he could handle pass coverage coming off a major knee injury. The 34-year-old linebacker clearly isn't short on confidence, but the NFL is a young man's game, so Bulluck does have to prove himself.
