Rackers rattled off roster: The Redskins released kicker Neil Rackers on Monday after incumbent Graham Gano secured the starting kicker position for the upcoming season. Rackers, who set a Texans franchise record with 135 points last season, was among the first round of cuts for Washington.

Gano won a competition that was mainly decided on the practice field. The Redskins attempted only two field goals in their first three preseason games, both by Rackers. He made a 28-yarder, but missed from 54. Without a job to begin the season, Rackers should be left untouched in Fantasy formats.
