Ken Whisenhunt says Bishop Sankey not a fumbler
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(8/18/14) Titans rookie running back Bishop Sankey, who's had ball security issues in the first two preseason games, is not a fumbler, coach Ken Whisenhunt told TitanInsider.com. Whisenhunt attributed Sankey's problems thus far to his footwork and technique.
Bishop Sankey must improve ball security
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(8/18/14) Titans running back Bishop Sankey is having "continued fumbling issues" that could cost him some offensive opportunities, reports the Tennessean. The rookie lost a fumble Friday against the Saints after botching a handoff a week before.

The paper noted Sankey "has had exchange issues with quarterbacks in practice."

Bishop Sankey plays well despite losing a fumble
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(8/16/14) Titans running back Bishop Sankey had a good game going Friday night against New Orleans, but lost a fumble a week after botching a quarterback-to-running back exchange. He was pulled after the fumble on the opening drive of the fourth quarter.

Sankey came in for an injured Shonn Greene (knee), but didn't get his first handoff until the start of the second half. He finished the game with six carries for 31 yards, averaging 5.2 yards per attempt. He was not targeted in the passing game.
All-around skills give Bishop Sankey the edge
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(8/13/14) The Titans drafted running back Bishop Sankey because of his versatility, and those all-around skills "will make it tough to keep him off the field," reports the Tennessean. The paper adds, "It's easy to envision him as the primary ball-carrier" ahead of Shonn Green and Dexter McCluster.

Running backs coach Sylvester Croom said Sankey's versatility separated him from the other backs in the draft. "We wanted a guy we felt was a solid player in all areas, and that goes for running the ball, pass protecting, receiving, route running, intelligence, all of that," Croom said. "Bishop fit the profile of what we wanted to get done."

Ken Whisenhunt calls Bishop Sankey a standout
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(8/11/14) Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt named Bishop Sankey one of the standout performers in Saturday's preseason opener against the Packers. Sankey entered in the second quarter and caught three passes for 38 yards, including a 5-yard touchdown, and ran 13 times for 37 yards.

Sankey played behind starter Shonn Greene, who carried four times for 20 yards and a touchdown.
