Seahawks get run over by Chiefs backs

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(11/17/14) The Seahawks defense couldn't slow down the Chiefs' running game in Week 11's 24-20 loss Sunday.

The Seahawks limited the Chiefs to just 108 yards through the air, and kept them off the field for 36 minutes of gametime, but the Chiefs just wore down the Seahawks otherwise. The Chiefs rushed for 190 yards and three rushing touchdowns, overcoming a pair of fumbles lost to the Seahawks defense.

The Seahawks' defense isn't quite as fearsome as it once was, though Sunday's game was just the second in the last six in which they did not come away with double figures in Fantasy scoring. They will look to reach that level again in Week 12, with the Cardinals on the schedule.

Pete Carroll provides injury updates on Chancellor, Smith, Wagner

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(11/10/14) In an interview on 710 AM ESPN Radio Seattle, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said that both safety Kam Chancellor (groin) and linebacker Malcolm Smith (groin) will return to practice this week. Linebacker Bobby Wagner (toe) may be limited to only running this week.

The Seahawks will face the Chiefs in Week 11.

Seahawks' Pete Carroll: Chancellor will have to talk us into playing

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(11/7/14) When speaking about Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor's status for Week 10, coach Pete Carroll told reporters that he is "going to have to talk us into it at this point," according to the News Tribune on Friday.

Chancellor has registered 47 combined tackles along with one interception and one forced fumble this season.

Defensive touchdown makes Seahawks' day

by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer
(11/3/14) Coming off a season-best performance at Carolina in Week 8, the Seahawks looked like they were back on track defensively, and they confirmed it Week 9 against Oakland.

Granted, they got a touchdown on an interception return, which really upped their point total in Fantasy, but they also gave up just 226 yards despite allowing 24 points. They had a second interception, a fumble recovery and a sack.

The Seahawks have been lacking in sacks this season, recording just 11 in all, and their two interceptions nearly doubled their season total. Still, they took advantage of a favorable matchup, which is something they hadn't done all season, and looked good for a second straight week.

The Seahawks DST is once again looking like a must-start Fantasy unit for Week 10 against the Giants.

Seahawks DST bounces back in impressive win

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(10/26/14) The Seahawks DST bounced back from a subpar outing, with a double-digit Fantasy-point effort in a Week 8 win over the Panthers.

The Panthers offense managed just 266 yards of total offense Sunday, as the Seahawks looked more like the unit we have come to know. They forced a pair of turnovers and sacked quarterback Cam Newton en route to 15 Fantasy points.

The Seahawks have scored in double figures in Fantasy points just three times this season, though two of those efforts have come in the last three weeks. They will look to carry the momentum forward to Week 9 against the Raiders.
