Eagles QB Nick Foles could have follow-up exam this week

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(11/24/14) Eagles coach Chip Kelly told reporters that quarterback Nick Foles is expected to have a follow-up exam for his collarbone injury "this week or next week, I'm not sure." According to the Delaware County Daily Times, Foles is "doing good" in his recovery from the injury.

Eagles QB Mark Sanchez posts third straight 300-yard game

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(11/23/14) Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez registered his third consecutive game with at least 300 passing yards, leading his team to a comfortable 43-24 victory over Tennessee in Week 12. Prior to this season, Sanchez never had two consecutive 300-yard games.

Sanchez hooked up with James Casey for a 14-yard touchdown in the third quarter. He compiled 307 yards through the air while completing 30 of 43 pass attempts. He added one touchdown, two interceptions and finished with a 78.3 passer rating. He has 1,187 passing yards with seven touchdowns and six interceptions this season.

Sanchez will look to make it four games in a row Thursday against Dallas.

Mark Sanchez puts up garbage-time points

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(11/16/14) Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez ended up with decent numbers, but his second start in Week 11 against the Packers was mostly a disaster Sunday.

Sanchez finished the game with 21 Fantasy points, but most of that came after the game was already out of reach. He tossed both of his touchdowns in the second half with the Eagles down 30-plus points, after tossing a pair of ugly interceptions in the first half. He ended up completing 26 of 44 passes for 346 yards in the blowout loss.

Sanchez looked solid in his first start, but looked like the Mark Sanchez of old Sunday. He has six touchdowns in almost three full games since Nick Foles' injury, to go with four interceptions.

This Eagles offense looks like it can turn just about anyone into a productive Fantasy option, especially if they have to throw the ball 35-plus times. It might not be pretty, but Sanchez looks like he's in the right spot to remain Fantasy relevant down the stretch, even if you'll never feel great about starting him.

Mark Sanchez throws for 332 yards, 2 TDs in first Eagles start

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(11/10/14) Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez kept Chip Kelly's offensive machine rolling Monday night in his first start since replacing the injured Nick Foles. Sanchez hit 20 of 27 throws for 332 yards and two touchdowns with no turnovers in a 45-21 pasting of the Panthers.

It was Sanchez's first 300-yard game since Nov. 22, 2012. He moved well in the pocket and took only one sack.

With his team leading 17-7, Sanchez led a 91-yard touchdown drive in which he completed five straight passes for 28, 17, 20, 20 and 13 yards. Four of those went to his favorite receiver, Jordan Matthews, including the 13-yard score.

Sanchez later found Matthews for an 18-yard touchdown, and he nearly had a 30-yard scoring pass to tight end Brent Celek. But Celek was ruled down inside the 1.

Sanchez posted a 102.5 passer rating. He visits the Packers in Week 11.

Eagles' Chip Kelly: Nick Foles will be re-evaluated in a month

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(11/7/14) Eagles coach Chip Kelly told reporters that Nick Foles will be re-evaluated in approximately a month, according to the Philadelphia Daily News on Friday. The team will have a better sense of his timetable once he is re-evaluated. Kelly added that he's not sure if Foles will return as the starter, if he's back at any point this season.

"I have no idea. We could have no quarterbacks at that point in time," Kelly said.
