Preseason Outlook

Zuerlein misses another FG: Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein missed yet another field goal during the Week 17 regular-season finale at Seattle Sunday. Zuerlein has a big leg, but has been inconsistent at times and finished 2 for 3 on field goals in the finale with a long of 39 yards. Zuerlein added an extra point and finished with seven points scored on the afternoon. (Updated 12/30/12)

Fantasy Analysis
The rookie Zuerlein started very strong this season but didn't play well towards the end of the year. He missed a field goal in five straight games in which he attempted at least one to close out the season and only had five games of double figures in scoring. Three of those games came in the first four weeks. That said, Zuerlein did display a huge leg and nailed a 60-yard field goal this year. He could garner high Fantasy value heading into next season if he can start kicking more consistently for the Rams. (Updated 12/30/12).
