(3/30/14) Redskins defensive back Richard Crawford was ahead of schedule in his recovery from knee surgery last month, and is hoping to receive medical clearance soon. With OTAs coming up, however, he has yet to receive clearance as he told CSNWashington.com Saturday. He will visit with Dr. James Andrews for a follow up, though it is not clear when that will occur.

(2/25/14) Cornerback/kick returner Richard Crawford is ahead of schedule in his recovery from knee surgery and should be full speed for spring OTAs, reports the Washington Post. Crawford was waived by the Redskins with an injury settlement last August and will compete for a roster spot in 2014.

(8/24/13) Mike Shanahan revealed that cornerback Richard Crawford is likely out for the season with a torn LCL and possibly ACL, reports the Washington Post. He added that more tests on the ACL are coming.
Crawford sustained the injury on a punt return in the second quarter of the Redskins' preseason game Saturday against the Bills.
