Sam Bradford puts together impressive drive in return from torn ACL
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(8/16/14) After sitting out exactly 300 days while recovering from a torn ACL, Rams quarterback Sam Bradford finally returned to action in Saturday’s preseason game at home against the Packers.

Bradford was used exclusively out of the shotgun and completed his first four passes of the game. He missed Kenny Britt on a deep pass down the right sidelines. He bounced back with a 51-yard completion to Brian Quick on his second series, which ended on an 11-yard touchdown pass to Lance Hendricks.

He was limited to two series with the first-team and compiled 101 yards through the air while completing 9 of 12 passes with one touchdown and no interception. He finished with a 127.4 passer rating.

Sam Bradford to play Saturday
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(8/10/14) Rams quarterback Sam Bradford, who sat out the preseason opener, will play Saturday against the Packers. "I haven't decided how much, but he's going to play this week," coach Jeff Fisher said, via the Belleville News-Democrat.

Bradford, coming off ACL surgery, has shown good mobility in camp and is throwing with as much or more velocity than ever.

Sam Bradford will start second preseason game
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(8/9/14) Rams head coach Jeff Fisher announced that quarterback Sam Bradford will get the start Saturday against the Packers, according to the team's official website. Bradford was held out of Friday's preseason opener. The team took a cautious approach with their starting quarterback after coming off knee surgery.
Sam Bradford likely to sit out Friday
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(8/6/14) The Rams likely will hold out quarterback Sam Bradford from Friday's preseason opener against the Saints, reports ESPN.com. Bradford has shown "no signs of trouble" with his surgically repaired knee, but the team is playing it safe.

"He's done everything we needed to see right now at practice," coach Jeff Fisher said. "So he's going to play in the preseason; unlikely that he's going to play this week. ... It's not because he can't; it's because it's our choice."

Sam Bradford thinks his arm is stronger
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(8/3/14) Rams quarterback Sam Bradford is noticeably bigger in his upper body thanks to a rehab in which he couldn't work out much else, reports ESPN.com. Bradford, coming off knee surgery, suggested his arm might be stronger, and his passes seem "to be coming out with as much or more velocity than in years past," the report said.

On Saturday, "Bradford had plenty of zip on all of his passes, none more than the perfectly thrown 60-plus yard touchdown pass he threw to receiver Kenny Britt."

"Coming into this camp is probably the strongest I’ve been from the waist up and I think it probably has paid off a little bit," Bradford said. "I feel like I do have a little more zip on the ball and feel like I can make some of those throws that maybe were a little slower last year."
