Seahawks QB Russell Wilson tosses two scores Week 11

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11/16/14) Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw two touchdowns Week 11 against the Chiefs.

Wilson completed 20 of 32 passes for 178 yards and two scores. He did not turn the ball over during the contest. Wilson didn't have much going in the passing game, and was mostly limited to short passes. He averaged just 5.6 yards per completion. He was, once again, a strong presence in the run game. Wilson gained 71 yards on eight rushes. He finished second in the team in rushing, behind Marshawn Lynch.

Wilson will look for more Week 12 against the Cardinals.

Russell Wilson can still get it done

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(11/16/14) Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson still doesn't have much help in the passing game, but he continues to make things happen with his legs, and he did so again in a Week 11 loss to the Chiefs.

Wilson racked up 26 Fantasy points Sunday, and it was the 71 rushing yards that put him over 20 for the first time since Week 7. He passed for just 178 yards on 32 attempts otherwise, though did toss a pair of scores, his first since Week 8.

Wilson has at least 18 Fantasy points in two of his last four games, a good sign of how difficult things have been for him. When he rushes the ball well, Wilson's Fantasy upside is still pretty high, as he showed by picking up 16 of his Fantasy points on the ground last week. However, if he can't get going in that aspect of the game, he's awfully tough to rely on, given how few weapons the team has around him.

If Wilson is your top option at quarterback down the stretch, you probably aren't feeling great about your chances right now. However, his upside is great enough that you can still use him in the right matchups.

Seahawks' Russell Wilson limited in the passing game Week 10

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11/9/14) Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was limited in the passing game Week 10 against the Giants.

Wilson, however, found a way to provide value to the club. The team mostly focused on the running game, and Wilson played a big role in that. He finished second on the team in rushing with 107 yards on 14 attempts. Wilson struggled in the passing game. While he completed 10 of 17 passes for 172 yards, Wilson also threw two interceptions. He was able to offset those struggles a bit by running in a 1 yard touchdown at the end of the game.

Wilson will take on the Chiefs Week 11.

Russell Wilson looking to snap out of funk

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(11/7/14) Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is stuck in a rut recently, but he just may be able to snap out of it against the Giants in Week 10.

The Giants defense has struggled slowed down passing games recently, allowing 65 combined Fantasy points to the last quarterbacks they have faced. Of course, Wilson has struggled in his own right in that span, picking up just 24 Fantasy points in consecutive games against pretty mediocre defenses, as he has struggled a bit since the trade of Percy Harvin.

One trend will have to end this week; either Wilson's struggles will end, or the Giants' issues with quarterbacks will. Jamey Eisenberg and Dave Richard believe Wilson will come out on top in the matchup, with both ranking him among the top-10 for quarterbacks in Week 10. Consider him a solid starting option, even with his struggles.

Here we go again with Russell Wilson

by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer
(11/3/14) Remember how consistent Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson looked at the start of the season, scoring at least 15 Fantasy points every week with the occasional 30-point extravaganza?

Yeah ... that's pretty much shot to pieces.

His 126-yard performance against the Cowboys in Week 6 seemed like an outlier at the time, but he's done the same thing three out of the last four weeks now. And in Week 9, he did it against the Raiders -- or what seemed like a gimme matchup coming in -- completing less than half his passes for 179 yards and no touchdowns.

It was his first game without a touchdown of any kind this season. He at least ran for one against the Cowboys.

So we're back to where we started with Wilson. As one of the most efficient dual-threat quarterbacks in league history, he's a candidate for monster numbers any given week, but because of the Seahawks' inconsistencies on offense, he also has incredible downside. With six quarterbacks on bye in Week 10, you're probably starting him against the Giants, but you shouldn't expect him to carry your team.
