(12/8/13) Several Panthers who were probable on the injury report are active for the game at New Orleans, including defensive end Charles Johnson (knee), offensive tackles Jordan Gross (non-injury related) and Nate Chandler (knee), defensive tackle Dwan Edwards (non-injury related), tight end Ben Hartsock (knee) and guard Travelle Wharton (non-injury related).
Johnson leads the team with 8 1/2 sacks.

(11/6/13) Panthers coach Ron Rivera said Wednesday offensive lineman Nate Chandler will be the starting right guard heading into Week 10 at San Francisco.

(11/3/13) Not only did the Panthers lose starting right guard Chris Scott to a knee injury Week 9 against the Falcons, but they also lost backup Jeff Byers to a foot injury, requiring them to use former defensive tackle Nate Chandler at the position.
According to the Charlotte Observer, Scott was in a brace after the game, and Byers was on crutches.

(10/26/12) The Panthers released defensive lineman Frank Kearse on Friday in order to create a spot on the active roster for fellow defensive lineman Nate Chandler from the practice squad. Chandler was among Carolina's last round of cuts during the preseason.
