(11/17/14) The Cardinals defense shut the Lions down in Week 11, in a 14-6 win Sunday.

The Lions managed just 262 yards of total offense against the Cardinals, as the defense showed no signs of weakness. The Cardinals forced one turnover in the win, and sacked quarterback Matthew Stafford four times en route to a 16-point Fantasy effort.

The Cardinals DST unit is enjoying quite an impressive run, having recorded 10 or more Fantasy points in six straight games. They will look to keep the streak up in Week 12 against the Seahawks.

The Cardinals have posted three straight games with at least 10 Fantasy points, a streak they will be putting on the line in Week 9 against the Cowboys.

The 49ers, who had a pair of first-half touchdowns, finished with 318 yards, including 82 rushing yards.

The Cardinals defensive forced no turnovers and recorded one sack. Safety Tony Jefferson totaled a team-high 10 tackles (eight solo) and had the quarterback takedown of Colin Kaepernick. Safety Rashad Johnson had eight solo tackles and safety Tyrann Mathieu had six solo tackles.

The Cardinals are on a Week 4 bye before returning to action Week 5 at Denver.

Arizona forced two interceptions and two fumbles Sunday. They also sacked Giants quarterback Eli Manning two times.

The special teams unit also got involved in the win, as returner Ted Ginn brought back a punt 71 yards for a touchdown with 10:10 remaining, giving Arizona the go-ahead score.

The Cardinals are back in action Week 3 vs. San Francisco.
