|Cardinals allow game-winning field goal as time expires |
|by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com|
(12/29/13) The Cardinals turned in a solid performance in a losing effort against the 49ers in Week 17.
Arizona clamped down San Francisco's running game, allowing 83 yards on 23 carries. Frank Gore was limited to only 14 yards on 13 carries. The defense allowed a late-game drive and a game-winning 40-yard field goal to Phil Dawson as time expired. Arizona sacked Colin Kaepernick twice but did not record a turnover, as the unit allowed 375 yards of total offense in a 23-20 defeat.

(12/23/13) The Cardinals were able to keep Russell Wilson and the Seahawks in check in Seattle during a 17-10 Week 16 win.
Arizona held Wilson to only 11 completions and 108 passing yards. Karlos Dansby came down with the game-winning interception late in the fourth quarter to seal the win for the Cardinals. They sacked Wilson four times and allowed 192 yards of total offense.
The Cardinals will look to keep rolling in Week 17 against San Francisco.
|Cardinals looking solid lately |
|by Nando Di Fino | Senior Fantasy Writer|
(12/17/13) The Cardinals have been on a roll recently, with six games of 12 or more points in the last seven, and three of 19 or more. They have multiple sacks in all but three games this year, and their 19 interceptions are fifth-most in the league.
The Cardinals face the Seahawks in Week 16, and Seattle has been relatively stingy in recent weeks, throwing just two interceptions over their last five games. And while the Cardinals have scored four defensive touchdowns in the last six games, the Seahawks have allowed just two defenses to score on them all season.
There's probably no reason to bench the Cardinals, as they're a top DST in Fantasy, but it might be wise to lower Fantasy point expectations a bit, as this is a game in a rough environment against a team that doesn't make a ton of mistakes.
|Cardinals DST scores again |

(12/15/13) For the third time in five games, the Cardinals DST returned an interception for a touchdown. This time it was defensive back Antoine Cason picking off Tennessee quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and returning it 20 yards for a fourth-quarter score.
The Cardinals gave up season highs of 34 points and 460 yards, but forced three turnovers and got three sacks. Cason was responsible for all three turnovers, intercepting two passes and recovering a fumble.
The Cardinals DST gets a tougher matchup Week 16 at Seattle.
|Cardinals DST has big game against Rams |

(12/8/13) The Cardinals DST had a big game Week 14 against St. Louis.
Arizona wrecked havoc against Kellen Clemens. Clemens was held to just 181 passing yards, and tossed two interceptions. Karlos Dansby was able to take one of those interceptions all the way into the end zone for a score. That wasn't enough for Arizona. They also managed to sack Clemens in the end zone, registering a safety. They were only beat on one play, as Tavon Austin broke off a 56 yard run on an end-around. Zac Stacy punched in a 1 yard score on the next play.
The Cardinals will look to continue their dominance Week 15 against the Titans.
