(7/27/14) Cowboys safety Jeff Heath suffered a minor injury scare during Sunday's practice, ESPN reports. Heath jammed his wrist while trying to make a tackle on Lance Dunbar. He briefly left practice and was evaluated by team trainers before returning to the field taped up.

(11/24/13) Cowboys defensive back Jeff Heath, a recent addition to the starting lineup, recovered a fumble in the first quarter and returned it 50 yards for a touchdown Week 12 at the Giants. He finished the game with six tackles, including five solo.
Heath was coming off a nine-tackle performance at New Orleans in Week 10.

(10/24/13) Cowboys safety J.J. Wilcox injured in his knee in practice Thursday and his status for Week 8 at Detroit is now up in the air, according to The Dallas Morning News. Sources said the team is awaiting the results of an MRI on Wilcox's injured knee.
If Wilcox, who moved into the starting lineup at strong safety Week 3, is unable to play, then Jeff Heath is expected to take his spot.
