|by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com|
(10/24/13) Cowboys safety J.J. Wilcox injured in his knee in practice Thursday and his status for Week 8 at Detroit is now up in the air, according to The Dallas Morning News. Sources said the team is awaiting the results of an MRI on Wilcox's injured knee.
If Wilcox, who moved into the starting lineup at strong safety Week 3, is unable to play, then Jeff Heath is expected to take his spot.
