by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com (10/1/14) The Ravens DST unit has struggled so far this season, and things aren't likely to get any easier in Week 5 against the Colts.
The Ravens have failed to reach double figures in Fantasy points in three of four games this season, and they will be going up against arguably the league's hottest offense. The Ravens have surrendered 260 passing yards per game heading into the matchup with the Andrew Luck-led Colts, who have laid waste to opposing defenses. The most Fantasy points a DST unit has managed against the Colts was the Broncos' 9-point effort in Week 1.
The Ravens have done a good job keeping quarterbacks out of the end zone so far, but their luck is likely to run out this week. Consider better options for DST units this week.
Ravens aiming for Lardarius Webb to return action Week 5
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com (9/29/14) Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Monday he is aiming for cornerback Lardarius Webb to get back on the field Week 5 against the Colts. Even though he was a healthy scratch Week 4 vs. Carolina, Webb missed the first two games due to a back injury and was limited in his season debut Week 3.
Ravens DST steps up vs. Panthers
by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer (9/28/14) The Ravens DST, which underwhelmed last week at Cleveland, came through with one of its strongest performances of the season Week 4 against Carolina, limiting the Panthers to just 10 points on 315 yards.
It was a little short on big plays -- recording just two sacks, including 1 1/2 by linebacker Elvis Dumervil, and recovering one fumble -- but it entered the day with just two sacks and one interception on the year, both against Pittsburgh in Week 2.
Though the Ravens DST is worth considering when it has favorable matchups, it certainly doesn't Week 5 at Indianapolis, so you'll want to look into alternatives.
