Bears defense holds up well vs. Vikings
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(11/17/14) The Bears defense bounced back from a thrashing at the hands of the Packers last week, with a solid performance against the Vikings in Week 11.
The Bears allowed an offensive touchdown early in the game, but shut the Vikings down from that point on. They held the Vikings to just 243 yards of total offense overall, while forcing one turnover and sacking quarterback Teddy Bridgewater twice.
The Bears DST unit had gone four weeks since recording a double-digit Fantasy game prior to Sunday's 14-point effort against the Vikings. They will look to keep the good times going in Week 12 against the Buccaneers.

Bears' Lamarr Houston suffers torn ACL during sack celebration
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(10/27/14) Bears defensive end Lamarr Houston's unfortunate sack celebration comes at a major price. According to Ian Rapoport, Houston has suffered a torn ACL and is out for the remainder of the season.
Houston sustained the injury while sacking Jimmy Garoppolo down 25 points with under four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. General manager Phil Emery confirmed the injury. He finishes the season with 11 combined tackles and a sack.
Bears DST the Patriots' latest victim
by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer
(10/26/14) Seemingly back on track defensively after a pair of decent performances against the Dolphins and Falcons, the Bears couldn't slow down the Patriots' runaway train Week 8 at New England, allowing 51 points on 487 yards, both season worsts. They recorded one sack, down from four in Weeks 6 and 7, and didn't have a single takeaway.
The opponent had a lot to do with it. After a slow start to the season, the Patriots have exploded for more than 35 points in three of their last four games, averaging 39.5 during that stretch.
In other words, the Bears DST deserves a pass for this one. Of course, since it's on bye in Week 9 and facing another high-scoring team, the Packers, in Week 10, you may not have much choice but to drop it in Fantasy.
