With OTAs coming up, however, he has yet to receive clearance as he told CSNWashington.com Saturday. He will visit with Dr. James Andrews for a follow up, though it is not clear when that will occur.
The report says that after meeting with Redskins general manager Bruce Allen and coach Jay Gruden that Hall felt this was the best decision. Hall, 30, led the Redskins with four interceptions and three defensive touchdowns in 2013, while also recording 78 tackles and two forced fumbles.
Redskins could release Adam Carriker

LaCanfora reports that the Redskins could save nearly $5 million in cap space by letting him go, and LaCanfora says "I'd be shocked if they did not."
Carriker did not play at all in 2013 due to a leg injury.
Redskins talking contract with Chris Baker

Baker, 26, was a backup nose tackle early last season before starting the final three games at end. He had a career-high seven tackles in the season finale vs. the Giants.
Redskins, Perry Riley not close to new deal
