Fantasy Analysis
Brown, a 10-year veteran who appeared in 143 consecutive games -- the longest current consecutive games streak for a defensive end -- was among 11 players released by the team to get down to the NFL's roster limit of 80 players. He has 45 1/2 career sacks, and had six or more in five separate seasons. He joined the Saints as an unrestricted free agent in 2010 and started all 16 games. He made 39 tackles and two sacks. The Saints have left the door open for a possible comeback, but his days as a starter may be over. (Updated 08/31/2011).
