(5/8/13) The Colts ranked 29th vs. the run and 21st against the pass last season, numbers that just won't sit well with coach Chuck Pagano. So the team went out and brought in five new starters in free agency and padded their depth in the NFL draft. Among the veterans added are pass rusher Erik Walden, safety LaRon Landry and cornerback Greg Toler. Florida State's Bjoern Werner and Oregon's John Boyett are the highlights from the draft. The changes are aimed at making the Colts better in every area.

(1/6/13) The Colts' defense proved no match for the Ravens' offense during a 24-9 Wild Card round playoff loss Sunday. The Colts did hold Baltimore scoreless in the first quarter and to one first-half touchdown, but the Ravens finished with three offensive touchdowns and 441 total yards, which included 172 rushing yards. The Colts did force running back Ray Rice to fumble twice, but sacked quarterback Joe Flacco once and didn't force any interceptions. Indianapolis also allowed veteran receiver Anquan Boldin to total 145 receiving yards after halftime.

Karim returned a kickoff 101 yards for a score in the third quarter to put the Colts up for good. The Colts DST gave up 352 yards of offense to Houston, but held them to just one touchdown. Houston quarterback Matt Schaub turned the ball over twice and was sacked four times in the game by the Colts DST. |
Colts must stop Houston
(12/25/12) The Colts DST had one of their better weeks last time out in Kansas City as they held the Chiefs to just 13 points, forced three turnovers and scored a defensive touchdown. Unfortunately, heading into Week 17 against Houston, games like that for the Indy defense have been few and far between. The Colts DST heads into the regular-season finale as a low-end Fantasy unit in terms of Fantasy points scored per week.
