Pagano's defense to be 'multiple': Colts coach Chuck Pagano said from the NFL Annual Meeting that the belief that he's a core 3-4 defensive scheme guy is wrong. He plans to use multiple fronts in Indianapolis this season. "Everybody's labeled me a 3-4 guy. We were basically a hybrid, so to speak (in Baltimore)," he said. "Our personnel allowed us if we wanted to be a 3-4 set-up, we could. If we wanted to play over defense like they did in Indy for a long time, we could do that. We were very multiple and that's where we plan to be in Indianapolis. We're going to try and do just like what we've done in the past: put our players in the best position to be successful." Fantasy Analysis
The Colts re-signed Robert Mathis and have held on to Dwight Freeney so far. They've also plucked defensive lineman Cory Redding and safety Tom Zbikowski from the Ravens as they follow their former defensive coordinator to Indy. They might come up with more sacks than we might expect but their defense remains very suspect. We wouldn't touch this DST on Draft Day. (Updated 03/29/2012).
