| Davis being phased out in Buffalo |
| (10/20/11) The Sports Xchange notes Bills rookie Kelvin Sheppard is close to officially taking over one of the team's inside linebacker sports alongside Nick Barnett, replacing veteran Andra Davis. Sheppard, who battled injuries in training camp, is healthy and making an impact. He took most of the snaps in the loss to the Giants. "He's sitting right there ready to take over that role," coach Chan Gailey said. "Whether he starts or not (vs. Washington on Oct. 30), I don't know. But he's going to get the majority of the snaps." |

| (12/11/10) Bills LB Andra Davis, who is on injured reserve, talked about his shoulder surgery. "Everything went well, I'm right on schedule," he said. "I feel great. Everything's coming along, and I'm anxious to get back out there again next year. I should be able to do everything for offseason workouts." |

| (10/10/10) After missing the game last week with a shoulder injury, Bills LD Andra Davis came back in a big way in Week 5 against the Jaguars. He combined for 11 tackles and intercepted a pass in the 36-26 loss. It was his first interception since 2008 with Denver. |

| (10/6/10) Buffalo Bills linebacker Andra Davis returned to practice Wednesday and hopes to play against Jacksonville this weekend despite revealing he has a shoulder injury that will likely require surgery. Davis said he has limited movement in his shoulder - he didn't say which one - but said it shouldn't prevent him from playing because there's little chance of him doing further damage. "Right now, it's OK," Davis said. "But right now, the situation we're in, we've got to suck it up and go." |
