Preseason Outlook

Shockey finds end zone again: Panthers TE Jeremy Shockey extended his touchdown streak to three games in Week 16 against the Buccaneers. He hauled in an 8-yard scoring strike in the fourth quarter and finished with two catches for 14 yards in the 48-16 win. It was Shockey's fourth touchdown of the season. (Updated 12/24/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
Shockey was overshadowed by Greg Olsen earlier in the year but he has come alive for Fantasy owners of late. He has seven catches for 85 yards with three scores over his last four games, and could end the year with a bang as he will play his former team -- New Orleans -- in the season finale. He caught three passes for 21 yards when he faced the Saints earlier in the year so consider Shockey as more of a low-end Fantasy TE for Week 17. (Updated 12/24/2011).
