Preseason Outlook

Bryant never gets on the field: Atlanta K Matt Bryant simply was not needed on Sunday in the NFC Wild Card game loss at New York against the Giants. The Falcons dropped the game and were eliminated from the playoffs 24-2 on Sunday. Bryant never came out onto the field for a field goal or extra point attempt. He finished with zero points in the game. Bryant's season is now officially over. (Updated 01/08/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Bryant did not have a single game like Sunday's Wild Card contest during the entire regular season as his worst effort saw him record at least two Fantasy points. Bryant went 27 of 29 on field goals during the regular season and did not miss a single extra point in 45 tries. He'll enter next year as an adequate Fantasy kicker for all formats as the Falcons are expected to be a high-scoring team next year. (Updated 01/08/2012).
