Texans trade LB Ryans: The Texans have traded linebacker DeMeco Ryans to the Eagles for a fourth-round draft choice in 2012. Ryans is expected to start in the middle of the Philadelphia defense. When playing in a 4-3 style of defense, Ryans had four straight seasons of 110-plus tackles with 7.5 sacks, 18 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two interceptions. (Updated 03/21/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Expect third-year linebacker Darryl Sharpton to get the first crack at replacing Ryans in the Texans defense, though it's very possible that the team adds talent there before the start of the season. We still expect the Texans DST to remain a quality unit thanks to their solid pass rush and good secondary. Look their way with a late-round pick. (Updated 03/21/2012).
