Hayes joins Chargers: Chargers LB Stephen Cooper (bicep) was placed on the season-ending IR list on Tuesday, according to the Chargers’ media relations director. Linebacker Gerald Hayes, an eight year veteran (2003-2010, Cardinals), was signed in his place. Hayes was at the team’s facility on Tuesday. Fantasy Analysis
Hayes put together some solid tackle-campaigns with the Cardinals in his first eight seasons in the NFL, registering over 90 on two occasions. But the fact that he was benched late in the year pointed to the team's willingness to move on without him, and that's how it played out. Hayes has low-end Fantasy value at this time.
