Fantasy Analysis
Samuel gets the chance to play full time for the Falcons, and he should be able to post quality stats. He has been considered one of the league's top ballhawks with an NFL-best 39 interceptions over the last six seasons. Consider him a No. 3 Fantasy defensive back in IDP leagues this year. 05/18/2012 13:14 Eagles' renewed inward focus will lead them back to top of NFC East
The Eagles' dream team was a nightmare. But after Philly's brass woke up to its 2011 missteps, Clark Judge sees a franchise moving back in the right direction -- past the Giants to favored status in NFC East.
Asante Samuel was traded from Philadelphia to Atlanta this offseason, and he will help the Falcons as one of their top three corners with Brent Grimes and Dunta Robinson. Samuel has been considered one of the league's top ballhawks with an NFL-best 39 interceptions over the last six seasons. He should do better with the Falcons then he did with the Eagles last year with increased playing time, and we consider him a No. 3 Fantasy defensive back. He is only worth drafting with a late-round pick in deep IDP leagues. (Updated 4/25/12)
