| Injury concern engulfs Clemons |
by Bill Passonno | CBSSports.com (1/6/13) Seattle defensive lineman Chris Clemons left in the third quarter of Sunday's NFC Wild Card game with a left knee injury and did not return. Clemens, who led the team with 11.5 sacks in the regular season, was originally listed as doubtful to return. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said after the game Clemons will reportedly have an MRI on his knee this week, and the team fears he may have torn his ACL.

| Chris Clemons will have to come back from a torn ACL suffered in the wild-card game victory over the Redskins last year. Before getting hurt, Clemons was showing he was again among the best pass rushers in the NFL. He had 11.5 sacks in 2012 with 40 total tackles (31 solo), and he has at least 11 sacks in each of the past three years. If Clemons can be ready for Week 1 then he remains a must-start defensive lineman in IDP leagues, and he's worth a mid-round pick. But if he's slow in his recovery and not ready for the start of the season then he should not be drafted in most formats, and instead will be someone to monitor for a waiver-wire addition.
