Bears keep DL Idonije: Unrestricted free agent defensive lineman Israel Idonije has agreed to a one-year deal to return to the Bears. A pass rusher would seem to be an ideal spot for the team to start in the draft, now, since the defense use a three-DE rotation and Idonije had just five sacks last season. The pass rush was only 29th in sacks per pass play. (Updated 03/19/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Idonije should continue to fit into Fantasy plans as a reserve DL worthy of starting during the bye weeks. He's not bad as a late-round pick. (Updated 03/19/2012).
05/11/2012 13:55 Bears agree to terms with first-round pick, LB Shea McClellin
The Bears have announced they*ve signed first-round pick (No. 19 overall) Shea McClellin to a four-year contract, and the former Boise State linebacker*s deal is projected to be worth about $8.3 million.
Israel Idonije will battle for playing time with rookie Shea McClellin this summer, and there's no promise he'll get the workload that he has in the past. With 13 sacks and 101 total tackles in two seasons, you'd think he'll have the chance to deliver, but McClellin could take his reps. Idonije is probably better served as a guy to pick up off waivers rather than take with a late draft pick. (Updated 4/27/12)
