Avant hurt, but returns : Eagles WR Jason Avant scored his second touchdown of the season, or so he thought. As he reached for the goal line the ball came loose and the play was reviewed. The call was overturned and the Cowboys would get the ball on the 20 because of a touchback. Avant landed awkwardly on his head at the end of the play and was taken to the locker room just before halftime. It was reported he had a head injury, but returned for the final drive of the half. He caught a 27-yard pass on that drive, but would not find the end zone again. He caught two passes for 35 yards in the 20-7 win.

Fantasy Analysis
Avant got his first target after Jeremy Maclin got attention on the sidelines for a rib injury. Avant has had some big catches for the Eagles this year, and still has just one score. Fantasy owners should not be starting Avant at this stage of the season, as he holds low-end value. The Eagles face the Redskins in Week 17.
