Avant nets no TDs in 2012: Eagles wide receiver Jason Avant finished with four catches for 39 yards Week 17 at N.Y. Giants. Avant, who was targeted five times, left the game after the team's first drive for X-rays on his foot and knee, but he returned to action in the second quarter and finished out the game. Avant finished the season with 53 catches for 648 yards and no touchdowns in 14 games. It was the first time in his seven-year career Avant didn't have at least one receiving touchdown.

Fantasy Analysis
Avant had some decent performances late in the season after replacing DeSean Jackson in the starting lineup, but he should once again enter 2013 as the Eagles' third receiver as long as Jackson and Jeremy Maclin are healthy. The Eagles could also have a new-look offense next year, so who knows what Avant's role might be. As of now, he probably won't be worth drafting in most Fantasy formats next summer.
