Fantasy Analysis
As a defensive tackle, Babineaux is typically creating space for other players to record sacks rather than picking them up himself. Still, he has had as many as six in a season before. If you're desperate at DL in a Fantasy IDP league, you could do worse than him off the waiver wire. (Updated 11/06/2011).
After a nice 2009, Jonathan Babineaux saw his stats decline in 2010. Playing in 15 games the big defensive lineman totaled 27 tackles with four sacks. He also had two passes defensed and a pair of forced fumbles. The tackle totals were disappointing as he had 47 a year prior, and the outlook on him is that he's good enough to be a reserve in Fantasy, worth a late-round pick. (Updated 5/3/11)
