Preseason Outlook

Barber announces his retirement: The Bears announced Friday that running back Marion Barber told the team he plans to retire. Barber's lone season in Chicago was last year where he had 422 rush yards and six touchdowns along with 50 yards receiving. Speculation was that the Bears were going to cut him following their signing of Michael Bush. Because he was under contract for 2012, the Bears can retain his rights for the upcoming season. Fantasy Analysis
Who would have thought that Marion Barber would have retired before Ronde Barber?! While you think about that, we'll remind you that at one point in Barber's career he was the primary rusher for the Dallas Cowboys and twice had at least 10 touchdowns in a single season -- neither of which came when he was the starter for the 'Boys. He ends his career with 53 rushing touchdowns, six receiving touchdowns and six fumbles lost -- his most recent a painful one for Bears fans and a fabulous one for Broncos fans.
