Browns WR Dwayne Bowe confident Terrelle Pryor will make team
|by Ruben Palacios | Staff Writer|
|(7/31/15) Browns wide receiver Dwayne Bowe is confident Terrelle Pryor, who he took under his wing after he changed positions from quarterback to receiver, will make the team, according to Cleveland.com.
"There's no doubt,'' Bowe said after day two of practice. "No doubt. He's extremely talented. He has the work ethic, and he's a team player."
Pryor is working with the second and third team offenses, but has shown a lot of progress since making the change.
"He's making it look so easy that he's starting to scare me,'' said Bowe, who led the NFL with 15 TD catches in 2010. "He's going to be really, really good. People think he's just going to come in and be a body. But he's actually going to play here and make plays for this team."

|(6/11/15) Browns wide receiver Dwayne Bowe was able to participate in the team's OTA session Thursday, reports the Northeast Ohio Media Group.
Bowe suffered a minor knee injury during OTAs last week, but coach Mike Pettine said Bowe has recovered.
"It was good to see him come out here and work through it," Pettine said.
Pettine: Knee issue for Browns WR Dwayne Bowe nothing serious

|(6/2/15) Mike Pettine has revealed that Browns new wide receiver Dwayne Bowe tweaked his knee Monday, but the coach does not believe it to be serious, per Associated Press.
The Browns can ill-afford to lose Bowe. The team is woefully short of proven wide receivers.
WR Dwayne Bowe looks to revitalize himself with Browns
|by Dave Peters | CBSSports.com|
|(3/31/15) Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe is looking to revitalize his career now that he has joined the Browns, reports ESPN. Bowe was cut by the Chiefs in the middle of March.
"I have a chance to revitalize myself," Bowe, 30, told ESPN.com via telephone Tuesday. "Just sit back and watch."
Browns general manager Ray Farmer has familiarity with Bowe from their time with the Chiefs. The two sat down and watched tape from the 2010 season when he racked up 15 touchdown receptions.
"Him knowing what I can do, seeing me in practice, making crazy plays, splitting the safeties, he knows I still can do that," Bowe said. "I couldn't showcase that last year. He was pulling up old plays, saying, 'We are going to use you just like that.' Moving around, going on motion, trying to hit the deep ball, trying to break plays."
The 30-year-old wideout appreciated his time with the Chiefs and he has no regrets.
"It's been up and down, but it's been fun," Bowe said. "I don't regret nothing. People can talk about the NFL and playing wide receiver -- I feel I still have a good four more years in me."
Over his eight-year career, he has totaled 532 receptions for 7,155 yards and 44 touchdowns.
Dwayne Bowe officially signs with the Browns on Friday
|by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com|
|(3/20/15) Former Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe officially signed with the Browns on Friday, according to the team's official website.
Bowe, 30, spent his entire eight-year career with the Chiefs before being released in a salary cap move last week. He recorded 532 receptions for 7,155 yards and 44 touchdowns during his run with the Chiefs.
In a statement on the team's website, Bowe said he's ready to take Cleveland to the "next level."
"The Browns were the perfect situation from the fan base to the style of offense and the way I'll be utilized to help the team go to the next level," Bowe said. "After eight years, you're a pro's pro. I've had every style of coaching, every personality. I've been through a lot and it's going to make this transition a little easier because of what I've been through. The fan base is crazy just like Kansas City and is something I'm excited to be a part of. The positive energy I'm going to bring to the locker room is definitely going to take the Dawg Pound to the next level."
|Dwayne Bowe was once among the best Fantasy receivers in the game, and in 2010 he was No. 2 at the position in standard leagues with 72 catches for 1,162 yards and 15 touchdowns. He backed that up in 2011 with 81 catches for 1,159 yards and five touchdowns to finish as the No. 18 receiver. But in the past three years, Bowe has been trending in the wrong direction, culminating with a disastrous performance last season when he failed to score a touchdown. He was cut in the offseason as a salary dump, and he landed in Cleveland with the hope he can revitalize his career -- and Fantasy value. Now, going from Alex Smith to likely Josh McCown isn't going to improve his outlook, but hopefully he will be better than his performance in 2014. We don't have high expectations for Bowe, and he's only worth a look as a late-round flier in deep leagues. He's still just 30, but his skills might have declined to a point where he's never going to rebound to be even a quality bench option in deeper formats.
