Fantasy Analysis
Burnett struggled adjusting to Miami's defense after arriving in the offseason from San Diego and failed to surpass five tackles in his first five games of the year. However, he surged late and finished with 105 stops. Consider him a quality option late in 2012 Fantasy drafts. (Updated 01/01/2012).
Kevin Burnett was a free agent this offseason, and he latched-on with the Dolphins coming off a career year in 2010. Burnett had 95 total tackles (80 solo) with six sacks, two interceptions, one fumble recovery and one defensive touchdown with the Chargers in 2010. Since he is in a similar defense in Miami, Burnett should be considered a No. 2 LB in IDP leagues worth a middle- to late-round pick. (Updated 7/29/11)
