Fantasy Analysis
Burnett struggled adjusting to Miami's defense after arriving in the offseason from San Diego and failed to surpass five tackles in his first five games of the year. However, he surged late and finished with 105 stops. Consider him a quality option late in 2012 Fantasy drafts. (Updated 01/01/2012).
Kevin Burnett had a productive first season with the Dolphins in 2011, and he will look to build on that this year. Burnett had a career-high 103 total tackles (82 solo). He also added 2.5 sacks, one defensive touchdown and an interception. Burnett should be considered a low-end No. 2 linebacker in IDP leagues, and he is worth drafting with a late-round pick. He has at least 95 total tackles in each of the past two years, so he should be able to make it three in a row. (Updated 4/24/12)
